She's built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with a molded pulpit and integrated transom. Her mid-cabin floorplan is arranged in the conventional manner with a convertible U-shaped lounge aft and a double berth in the forward stateroom. Both cabins have fold-away accordion privacy doors. By offsetting the forward berth, Maxum designers have created a very open interior in the SCR, larger in fact than the actual dimensions might suggest. Storage is plentiful, and three overhead hatches and six opening ports provide excellent lighting and ventilation.
