Since 1986 the Catalina has built a well deserved reputation as a classic blend of performance, comfort and value. This boat, built in June 2006 & bought at the fall boat show, spent only ONE all-too-short season sailing on Lake St. Clair, MI. As such it is in “like new” condition and is an ideal family cruiser, which has great stability and is very easy to sail. The exterior is fiberglass and stainless steel for easy maintenance. Only the companionway boards are teak. It is the wing keel model and it has excellent fit and finish. This boat was produced by Catalina to decrease maintenance and increase reliability and comfort underway and at anchor. It has a 130% Genoa, roller furling, with in-mast roller furling main. All lines lead to the cockpit so it is easy to single hand.

AccommodationsV-berth forward and queen size aft cabin, both with innerspring mattresses, firm and comfortable, with fitted sheets; sleeps 4 comfortably. Salon has micro-fiber seat covers, repels water and is easy to clean. Salon table can be lowered to form another berth, which together with the settee, provides 6 berths. It has a full head with integral shower. 6 opening side ports and two opening overhead hatches provide good air flow. Aft cabin has one covered hatch and one opening port for additional airflow. It also has a Clarion AM/FM/CD player with salon and cockpit speakers that can be controlled from both the cockpit and salon and it has a connection for an iPod. Also included is a DVD player/LCD screen TV in the salon with remote control.
GalleyThe roomy galley boasts a custom molded one piece counter top, dry food locker and overhead cup storage. The large counter space conceals the built in trash chute under cutting block. It has pressurized hot and cold water, with twin deep sinks (helpful when the boat heels); propane oven and two burner stove as well as a built in microwave oven. It also has a top loading refrigerator/freezer (definitely keeps things cold).
