This vessel is an open ocean tug/towing vessel. In 1999 she was re-powered by two EMD 16-645-E5 Diesel engines producing a total of 6000 HP and is equipped with an Almon Johnson Double Drum Towing Winch containing 2100’ of 2” cable. The winch is powered by a GM Detroit Diesel 6-71. She has accommodations for 14 crew with air conditioning. A 78,000 gallon fuel capacity gives her tremendous range.
