This Chris-Craft 45 Commander MY is a traditional flush-deck design with the classic Chris-Craft motor yacht appearance. These boats were made popular by Chris-Craft in the 1960’s and 70’s. Heavily built to near bulletproof lamination schedules, there are many who admire these yachts to be the essence of beauty, design, and elegance. As a weekend retreat or coastal cruising yacht, the accommodations are more than adequate, with a huge main saloon dominating the floor plan. Our yacht has a freshly painted Awlgrip (2004) dark green hull (a stand-out in any marina), is the standard two-stateroom arrangement, and it’s notable that this original galley-up layout features a full-width forward stateroom with a head compartment fitted in the forepeak – a very unique arrangement on any yacht. She has a single-station with a hardtop overhead, and is heavily built with a reputation for excellent handling characteristics under any sea conditions. “Jaded” is powered by twin, 325-hp, GM 8-53 diesel engines (only 2000-hours) for an economical cruising speed of 14 to 15-knots, and a top speed of around 18-knots; cruising range on this vessel is around 225 to 250-nautical miles. She's had many upgrades recently, such as: Fresh bottom paint in 2005, striking hardwood oak, and cherry saloon sole in 2005, a custom African mahogany helm station with new digital gauges, sensors, and a built-in Raymarine C-80 chartplotter, new isenglass enclosures, and a Salerno sun cover. This yacht is ready to go, and would make a great live aboard because of her spaciousness, and wide beam, so please give us a call for more details or an appointment to view this elegant classic.
