California DFG Salmon Troll permit is available with this vessel. Are you looking for a sound boat for offshore fishing and diving? This "old school" Radon is a heavier-built, fiberglass-over-wood model that handles rough weather well. The boat is a turnkey salmon Troller, complete with commercial gear. For any interested party who also wants to have the salmon permit, the owner will package the boat and permit. Accommodations: Overnight accommodations are provided for two passengers in two berths (upper and lower bunks). Interior features include storage space, storage underneath the bottom bunk, dinette, lockable companionway door and pilothouse helm station and efficiency galley. Interior headroom is over six feet. Galley Equipment: Galley equipment includes a stove and running fresh water. Electronic and Navigational Gear: Electronic and navigational gear includes two radars (one Koden 24-mile and one Sitex 24-mile), Sitex chart plotter, Furuno color sounder fish finder, Com Nav 1001 autopilot, King VHF marine radio, Ritchie compass, color television and Washington to Mexico map chip. Other electronic and navigational gear includes two helm stations (one in enclosed pilothouse and one outside at foredeck starboard). Electrical: Four marine batteries power the 12-volt electrical system. Other electrical gear includes a 12-volt alternator charging system. Water systems include one plastic 25-gallon freshwater holding tank and two hydraulic electric automatic bilge pumps. Other water system features include an electric bilge system, hydraulic fish hold and belt drive bilge. Hull & Deck Gear: The mid-cabin design has a large working foredeck and a smaller working aft deck with ample area for trolling and fishing activities. The deck features include raised gunwales, convertible bow rails and deck cleats. The main fish box functions as a large deck seating area. Anchor gear includes two 30-pound anchors with eight fathoms of 3/8 inch chain and ten fathoms of ¾ inch Sampson rode. Also included in the anchor gear is a bow roller and a Rizley design hydraulic windlass. Safety equipment includes two Coast Guard approved fire extinguishers, an up-to-date flare kit, docking line, fenders, two survival suits and a lot of extra gear. The main fish box in front of cabin with 2,000-pound capacity (salmon) and forward in-deck fish hold with 2,000-pound capacity (slush salmon). Other fishing gear includes stern-mounted gaff pit, aluminum mast, troll poles, salmon gurdies, crab block, gill nets and reel nets. Equipment & Engine Details: Engine Details: Power package includes a twin 130 horsepower 4BT Cummins (circa 1994) diesel I/O engine with 280 Volvo outdrives. The engine has 11,000 hours, a cruising speed of 8-knots and a maximum speed of 13-knots. Other engine features include four spare outdrives in excellent condition. The last service included the following: new starters, new heat exchangers, front and rear seals and a newly rebuilt Wagner hydraulic steering in both helms. Remarks: ROSALENA MARIE has been a successful commercial vessel in and around the Central California Coastline as a participant in salmon trolling, halibut gill netting, crabbing and diving.
