Looking for the kind of boat that is competitive for tournament fishing, efficient on long-range trips, and comfortable for those memorable excursions that last a full week? Then this 290 Tournament Aquasport is what you've been looking for. Her performance hull features wide strakes and deep chines. You won’t be disappointed with this boat - she is fast, great on fuel, and loaded. With new Floscan digital/analog fuel monitoring system, this total 630 HP gas inboard power package is more economical than a 630 HP diesel package! Accommodations: Overnight accommodations are provided for four or five passengers. The berths consist of two lower settees in the main cabin that can be converted into a huge V-berth, four single berths, or combination V-berth with two singles. The interior layout includes forward settee/berths, port galley, and starboard enclosed head. The head is equipped with new Jabsco electric head, integral sink, hot/cold pressurized water, vanity, under-sink cabinet, separate stall shower, and privacy door. Other interior features include easy access to chain locker, loads of personal storage space, brand new carpet, brand new upholstery, teak trim, 110-volt electrical outlets, 12-volt light fixtures, two port lights with screens, and lockable companionway door. Galley Equipment: The galley is equipped with two-burner electric/alcohol stove, 900-watt electric microwave (new in box), Norco AC/DC electric refrigerator, stainless steel deep sink, hot/cold pressurized water, plenty of drawers/cabinets/compartmental storage, and large Formica countertop. Electronic and Navigational Gear: Two helm stations are provided: one in the enclosed Eisenglass lower bridge (lower helm), and one in the full tower (upper helm). Each helm station is equipped with stainless steel steering wheel, two forward/reverse throttle sets, dash mounted gauges, and dash mounted electronics. The lower helm has a lockable overhead electronics box. Electronic and navigational gear includes two Ritchie compasses, new-in-box uninstalled RayMarine C80 system (48-mile radar/GPS/chart plotter/fishfinder), new-in-box Raymarine multifunction 10” display, 4 kW Radome, new-in-box Navionics Goldstar Plus Navigation software chip, new-in-box uninstalled Furuno 600’ depth finder (backup), two new-in-box uninstalled Horizon DSC VHF marine radios with connection to WAM microphone in upper helm (with private intercom to lower helm and DSC functions), new-in-box uninstalled Pioneer Marine AM/FM/CD/DVD stereo (XM-ready with satellite antennae), new-in-box 300-watt Pioneer amplifier, new-in-box Pioneer speakers, dual trumpet electric air horns, and USCG standard running lights. All the wiring has been completed for the new-in-box uninstalled electronics, and the wiring connections are well marked for easy install. The new-box electronics include extended warrantees (most through 2010 purchased at West Marine), receipts, and manuals. Electrical/Gas/Plumbing: The boat is equipped with both 12-volt and 110-volt electrical system. Electrical features include three battery banks, two AGM Group 27 engine starting batteries, four AGM 6-volt house batteries, two alternator three-bank battery isolator, three Guest on/off bank switches, electrical panel with new circuit breakers, Guest 40-amp three-bank battery charging system, 30-amp shore power inlet, and ship-to-shore power cord. Water system includes hot/cold pressurized freshwater system, 35-gallon freshwater tank, Rariton 6-gallon electric or manifold-driven hot water heater, 64-gallon holding tank, head Y-valve, head thru-hull deck fitting, head macerator, both manual/automatic bilge, two 2,000 GPM Rule bilge pumps, saltwater washdown pump, and two Jabsco pumps with Y-valve (extra pump is backup for two-scoop bait tank or can be attached to secondary bait tank). Hull and Deck Gear: The hull is all fiberglass, the decks are fiberglass with non-skid surfacing, and the boat is protected with ElectroGuard anti-galvanization system. Fight any fish 360-degrees around the boat! Deck layout includes bow deck, walkaround side decks, lower bridge, big aft fishing cockpit, and full tower. The lower bridge is equipped with full instrumentation helm, oversized seating for captain and passengers, wraparound windshield, dual windshield wipers, and semi-rigid hardtop. The full tower is equipped with tower steps with non-skid paint, semi-rigid hardtop, full instrumentation helm, and bench seating. Last haulout for service and new bottom paint was completed in 2006. Other recent service work includes new linear polyurethane to topside in 2004, new polyurethane non-skid in 2006, and new linear polyurethane with metallic silver to full tower in 2006. The boat is on a maintenance schedule with a professional dive service that cleans bottom, changes zincs, and completes a cameral inspection of the bottom. Ground Tackle/Safety Gear: Other hull and deck gear includes stainless steel deck cleats, wash down decks, pressurized saltwater washdown system, raised/cushioned gunwales, and Magma Avalon stainless steel grill with mount and cover. Anchor gear includes 14-lb. Delta plow-type anchor, 250’ of ¼” high tensile chain, 70’ of ½” nylon rope, Danforth number 14 type anchor, 16’ of 5/16” chain, 300’ of ½” nylon rope, Maxwell 600-lb. working load electric windlass (foot pedals on foredeck and toggle switch at helm), stainless steel bow roller assembly, bow pulpit with stainless steel anchor guard, stainless steel T-bar tie down, and chain locker. Safety equipment includes twelve PFD’s (four child type II, four adult type II, two type I, and two throwable), four fire extinguishers, flare kit with flare gun, first aid kit, docking line, fenders, aerial rockets, distress flag, and portable air horn. Canvas inventory includes full lower helm enclosure with white canvas/crystal clear Eisenglass. Fishing and sports gear includes eighteen stainless steel adjustable rocket launchers, two swing-out trolling rod holders, built-in rod holders, 110-square-foot fishing cockpit, two-scoop bait tank, bait/fish prep station (sink, two spigots, pressurized freshwater/saltwater, and cabinet), 162-quart fish kill box (fish hold) with seat cushion, Magma extra large fish cutting board, teak swim platform, landing net, 8’ Aftco gaff, and rod storage racks in cabin. Equipment/Engine Details: Engine Details: Power package includes twin 315 HP 454 Pleasure Craft gas inboard engines with 1,000 original hours. The boat cruises at 22-25 knots and reaches maximum speed of 32 knots. You will enjoy owning a boat with a very fuel efficient inboard power package, such as this one! At 22-knots cruising speed, the boat burns approximately 1.5 nautical miles per hour and has a range of about 300 miles. Other engine features include two new in 2007 3/16” aluminum fuel tanks with a total capacity of 300 gallons (original tanks were 1/8” aluminum), two newly rebuilt/upgraded in 2006 exhaust system, new in 2006 high-performance mufflers, freshwater cooling system (with custom fiberglass elbows installed in 2006 and specially designed to enhance horsepower performance), and Floscan twin-engine digital/analog fuel monitoring system.
