The Wilson is a hardcore Sportfisher appropriate for offshore commercial and sports fishing and diving. Typical of the Wilson design, the broad open cockpit (work space) with raised engine hatch aft provides generous workspace need for various commercial or sports applications. Accommodations: The large custom cabin, professionally designed and built by Parker, accommodates 2-3 overnights passengers in a large V-Berth or convertible side-by-side bunks. At least 6' headroom is provided in the cabin. Furnishings include plush fabric cushions and plenty of built-in storage. Aft of the V-Berth are a settee to port and an enclosed head to starboard. The head has no facilities installed, but has room for a porta-pottie or a marine toilet. Up steps and through sliding companionway door, one enters the pilothouse. The pilothouse is completely protected from the weather with house enclosure, front and side windows, and a canvas isinglass Electronic and Navigational Gear: Electronic and navigational gear includes 48-nautical mile Raytheon radar, Garmin 180 GPS, map chip to Point Conception, Interphase Twin scope scanning sonar (fishfinder), Raytheon VHF marine radio, and Danforth Hi-speed Constellation compass. Helm instrumentation includes (2) temperature gauges, (2) oil gauges, (2) voltmeters, (2) tilt controls, (2) rpm gauges, (1) Danforth charging gauge, and (1) hydraulic wheel steering system with dual Morse combination throttle-shift control. Electrical/Gas/Plumbing: The 12-volt electrical system is powered by (4) marine batteries with vapor-proof cut-off switches, and a fuse and switch panel (located inside cabin). Bilge pump system includes (1) Rule 12-volt pump, (1) automatic pump, and (1) 12-volt bait tank pump. Hull and Deck Gear: The boat has many built-in safety features: stainless steel swim step, stainless steel handrails at the foredeck, full stern rail of mahogany with stainless steel stanchions, non-skid deck surface, and wash-down decks with scuppers. Fishing equipment includes bait tank, (6) stainless steel rod holders, 8-rod stainless steel rocket launcher, and a small fish-holding box accessed from pilothouse. Anchor gear includes stainless steel bow roller plate, Ideal 12-volt electrical windlass, 13 lbs. Danforth anchor, and 10 kg. Bruce anchor, chain, and rode. Other safety gear includes (1) type III PFD; (2) type I PFD, (1) dry chemical fire extinguisher, docking lines, fenders, and miscellaneous spare lines. Equipment/Engine Details: Boat and trailer package includes a 1978 2-axle EZ-Loader with brakes and washouts. Engine Details: Power package includes two Volvo Penta marine diesel engines, each with turbo, 6 cylinders, and 185 HP. The outdrives have Volvo Duo props and 3-blade aluminum props. Other engine features includes wet exhaust, fresh water-cooling, fuel injectors, alternators, Racor water separators, Attwood in-line exhaust blowers, and trim tabs. The diesel fuel tank is aluminum and has a 250-gallon capacity. Remarks: This boat is a Channel Islands vet, currently being utilized for light-duty pleasure diving and fishing.
