The Norseman 770 Sky lounge Motor Yacht designed by Naval Architect Gary Grant exemplifies Norseman’s passion for yacht design and construction. This spectacular sky lounge design is a production yacht that can be highly customized to each owner’s requirements. Standard floor plans offer four or five stateroom layouts and there is even an on deck owner’s stateroom version available with a large owner’s head ensuite. Depending on the floor plan selected, there are two or three VIPs that are spacious and luxurious with two smaller guest cabins and a crew cabin; and with a huge galley and plenty of storage space for entertaining or long range cruising the Norseman 770 is ready to be your home on any ocean. Featuring current materials and design techniques, Grant has lessened sound and vibration in the living spaces. There is full headroom in the engine room and good access to service all systems. This tank tested hull design will cruise at approximately 24 Knots and top out at about 28 knots. There is even an option for a third center line engine for extended range cruising.



A unique feature on the Norseman 770 design is the sky lounge space. The components in the sky lounge can be mixed to meet your requirements, for short handed cruising or spacious entertaining. Hull #1, going to the Pacific Northwest, has a bar space and BBQ that is partly inside the sky lounge and partly aft in the open, and a twin observation seating area with day head. Aft is a garage for a 14?diesel powered dinghy and crew quarters. There is an on deck owner’s stateroom, a huge galley and a formal dining area forward of the salon.



A standard feature offering excellent visibility and control is the covered port and starboard wing stations that offer engine controls and bow and stern thruster controls. All standard on this ocean going cruiser. The Norseman 770 features the popular Portuguese bridge design and there is a walk down forward on the port side. Again flexibility in design to meet each owner’s requirements, Norseman offers a wide body design or covered walk arounds on the N770. The covered side decks and high bulwark offer safety and protection at sea. With a generous beam the N770 design allows for tremendous interior space with proper stairwell sizes and storage. Grant has created a design with no up and down steps seen on many other designs.



Interior finish can be either satin teak or cherry. The expert craftsmen have been trained to refine cabinetry construction and finish techniques to furniture like quality. Interior components are the finest in the world from Italian light fixtures to German faucets. Counter surfaces are either granite or Corian, and galley components are all US supplied. Standard are state-of-the art high-tech audio and video entertainment systems including a surround sound system with LCD TV in the salon, and TVs and DVD players in each stateroom. The efficient tank tested Gary Grant hull of the Norseman 770 offers good performance with a comfortable motion assured for friends and family with the standard Wesmar stabilizers. The cored hull constructed with Divinycell vacuum bagged for maximum strength to weight ratio, is built with a structural grid system to transfer loading evenly. Propeller tunnels, properly engineered, are available for shoal draft areas.
