As well as enhancing the interior spaces, we re-developed the technical side of the boat. We took our hull shape back to the test tank, and further enhanced the performance and seakeeping capabilities of the vessel, decreasing the resistance and pitching motion to an unparalleled 30% below the average, producing the most comfortable ride yet. In addition, its bulbous bow also greatly enhances theboat¡¯s efficiency. In retrofitting bulbs to over 36 existing vessels, over the past six years, it was found that the attachment of a bulb would produce an immediate 3/4 knot increase in speed, or a minimum 10% fuel savings.
