This Magnum was bought new by the King of Sweden, and he owned it until it was sold to the second owner in 1980. It was purchased by the current owner on May 27th, 2005, when an extensive restoration and upgrade program was started.

All other performance boats stand in Magnums shadow. There is a story about Don Aronow taking 13 friends with him for an offshore race in a 35 Magnum. Not only did he win the race, but he was so far ahead that he stopped so his friends could go swimming! True story, I don’t know, but I know that Magnums are the boats that set the standards for all other performance boats, even today. Magnum Marine was founded in Miami, FL in about 1966, when Don Aronow built two hulls to use in offshore racing. One hull was 27 feet, and the other boat was 35 feet; both went on to become World Offshore Champions in open class racing.

The 35 Express has over 6’ of headroom and enough beam to accommodate six berths, a dinette, and a full size head. Only 155 35 Magnums were built between 1967 and 1975. This is your chance to own a legend that was owned by a King! How cool is that. The new owner had a custom built hardtop installed that matches the powerful Magnum lines. Fresh Crusader 454 V-8 engines give her a better than 40mph top speed, and have very low hours on them. There is just nothing left that needs to be done to this vessel.
