There are very few boats that can go gunkholing Long Island Sound one day and turn out into the ocean for ports far away, the very same day. Her sailing capabilities are well known, but just as important is the interior of this classic beauty. Rich teak adorns everywhere you look and the layout has comfortable sailing written all over. This particular vessel has been meticulously maintained and upgraded through her owners tenure aboard. Accomodations:
The Tartan 37's interior is warm teak with incedible joinery work throughout. Upon desending the companionway steps the large navigation table is to port across from the U-shaped galley. Forward is the huge convertable dinette across from the settee berth and an inviting pilot berth above. The head with shower is across from a beautiful teak locker and drawer area. The forward stateroom features an ample V berth with drawer storage and lockers. The entire cabin is bathed in light and fresh air from her numerous openning Hatches and ports. All soft goods have recently been replaced with classic "Tartan" upholstery covering 6" heavy duty foam.
