When Pearson yachts built boats in the early Sixties it would appear that they knew that the hulls would be around for a very long time. The Rhodes designed Vanguard is no exception. This vessel has had her share of work done on her but has recently been left under cover for a few years. Hull is sound, not alot of bottom paint. Her engine has been turned over on a regular basis and her rig has had some upgrdes. She is really just a cosmetic overhaul short of being a lovely cruiser.The display photo is of a sistership, all others are from aboard this boat. Accomodations:
The Pearson Vanguard has a traditional racer/cruiser layout with V-berth forward, main salon with dinette and bunks aft of the head. Galley with new alcohol stove (2004), sink, icebox and storage lies beneath the companionway. Her generous cockpit features wheel steering and room for the whole crew.
