The Tartan 3700 CCR (Cruise Control Rig) is one of those yachts you can't take your eyes off of when you see her. She is also one of the easiest to sail with her self tacking jib and full batten mainsail, with lazy jacks into Tartan's "Pocket Boom." Her carbon fiber mast and boom reduce weight aloft substantially adding to her great performance under sail. Her vacum bag epoxy composite laminate construction provides an incredibly lightweight yet stiff boat, designed for "take anything on" sailing. Her beavertail keel offers ability to enter shallower harbors, yet keeps her comfy and fast in a blow.
Accomodations:
Tartan Yachts spared no expense in designing a large, comfortable and functional interior for the 3700. Abundant light and ventilation provided by 15 openning and screened ports and 6 hatches bath the exquisite cherry woodwork in light. The well laid out galley provides ample room and storage for the gourmet aboard. The forward stateroom complete with vanity sink and great storage in fine crafted solid door cherry lockers and drawers, features plenty of light and fresh air through some of the numerous hatches and ports. The main salon with center drop leaf table, has storage in lockers and cabinets outboard, flat screen television, Stainless steel reading lamps and dome lights overhead. Hella fans throughout provide extra air flow. A large navigation area consolidates electronics and ships electrical controls, also with practical storage. Aft of the chart table is a tremendous head for a 37 foot boat with enclosed shower stall, vacuflush head and sink in ample countertop. The aft cabin to starboard has huge lighted hannging lockers, awesome ventilation and light from numerous ports and hatches and features a large double berth. Fore and Aft cabin berths are upgraded high density foam. On deck the inviting cockpit has a cockpit table, hot/cold transom shower, and numerous drink holders and handy lockers for gear.
