Cetacea is hull #1 of the Hinckley Sou’wester 59’ series designed by McCurdy & Rhodes and has been professionally maintained by a full time Captain.  The owner has done numerous upgrades to make Cetacea the most elegant and best sailing 59’ on the market.  She has a 3 stateroom layout with 3 heads (all vacuum flush) with all single and double berths customized for comfort.  Cetacea has a carbon fiber main mast, electric furlers and winches and a custom retractable bow thruster for ease of use.  From the custom helm station to the easy sail plan this boat is made for cruising.  Besides her Hinckley quality she has also been outfitted for comfort with 3 separate a/c units, water maker, expanded battery amp hours, ac & dc refrigeration, Northern lights generator and other upgraded equipment throughout.  The owner has sailed shorthanded with a small family both offshore and coastal cruising.
