The construction by the finest Taiwanese craftsman under the direct, daily supervision of the renowned blue water cruiser, engineer and master craftsman Herbert Guttler. The result is a cruising masterpiece.
Teak is used extensively throughout the interior along with a large amount of custom bronze fittings that give it that traditional classic look. Her interior layout is roomy and cleverly laid out allowing for 2 private staterooms, a stall shower, a seagoing galley and a main salon that is large and accommodating, all beautifully finished in selected teak. She also has a comfortable, well laid out interior that's feels much larger than her size would suggest and is finished in lovely teak to Hans Christian's exacting standards. She is a solid and sea kindly blue water cruiser ready to take you to the open ocean in comfort. The HC 33 is a classic cutter that's a very capable offshore boat; with a deep full keel, high ballast-to-weight ratio. Cockpit and an oversized rudder placed far aft, she's safe and sea kindly under power or sail. The Hans Christian 33 is a design that has evolved from many years of experience of building the enormously successful Hans Christian line of offshore cruising yachts. She is a generously proportioned 33 foot blue water cruiser that can go anywhere comfortably and safely and is as strikingly handsome as she is practical.
For the individual looking to own what I would consider one of the best ocean cruising - live aboard sail boats ever designed and built, this HC 33T offers a unique opportunity to do just that. She is extremely well built, sails well, has wonderful sea keeping qualities, has enough displacement for load carrying and comfort at sea - AND she is absolutely gorgeous! - exhibiting a superior standard of care and maintenance.
