Liberty means freedom, and to a sailor, this freedom is to enjoy high performance, comfort, and safety, without restraint. The Liberty 458 was designed and built with excellence in mind.

With her graceful lines, unsurpassed structural integrity, and exceptional directional stability, this Liberty 458 is ready to cuise the world! Built by Shin Fa Industry, one of Taiwan's oldest and most respected boat builders, working collectively with her developers and inspectors, the Liberty 458 sets an example of the highly perfected craftsmanship and construction techniques now emanating from Taiwan.

Her spacious interior provides an impressive amount of comfort; for living, lounging, dining, and sleeping, with unbelievable storage, making her a great liveaboard and off shore cruiser.

Warm polished teak and gleaming brass ports - special amenities such as the leaded glass enclosed beverage cabinet, with indirect lighting, add touches of luxury and elegance in the uniquely designed salon. Deck prisms, strategically placed in the companionways, galley, heads, and navigation station, reflect daylight by creating a bright and airy feeling.

The aft owner's cabin has an oversized berth. The handsome stern transom windows provide additional light, creating a pleasing visual effect. The ports on the starboard and port allows for excellent cross ventilation. A full length hanging locker with drawers and additional storage for shoes and off-season apparel is more than adequate.

The large molded-in shower eliminates showering in cramped quarters and cleans up with a simple wipe down. The cantilevered sink enables use of both facilities simultaneously.

The well-designed galley of the Liberty 458 receives the applause of both off shore and liveaboard sailors. It's compact, but not crowded, with space for a microwave oven, and abundant storage for large pots and pans, dishes, and provisions. The double stainless steel sinks are convenient to the dining area and the general layout allows the galley chef to be included in the conversation without being inconvenienced by passing traffic. With creative utilization of space, attention to detail, and superb finishing throughout, it is not surprising that the Liberty 458 has earned the respect of everyone who has experienced her exceptional comfort and performance.

The Liberty 458's uncluttered deck design allows crew to move freely and safely, with considerable room for lounging, sunning, or fishing. With all lines aft to self-tailing winches, convenience and ease of handling is assured. Her handsome exterior, with stainless steel and brass ports, is enhanced with sufficient teak to please the eye without being a burden to maintain. Coded wiring and easy engine access from both sides saves time and energy when maintenance is necessary. Bulwark mounted stanchions essentially eliminate the possibility of leaking.

The spacious interior of the Liberty 458 is very well configured, allowing the owner to fulfill his/her individual requirements. You can conveniently work at the chart table while sitting down or standing; and the moveable bucket seats allow you to increase the seating capacity of the dining area. Creative utilization of space results in unsurpassed storage capabilities. With four large hanging lockers and numerous drawers and cabinets, the Liberty 458 is the perfect liveaboard and offshore cruiser all in one!
She is in a class by herself; and we invite you to see and appreciate her excellence first hand.

Accommodations

This fine yacht has been maintained in excellent condition since new. She is hull#2. The Liberty 458 is an elegant long distance cruising yacht whose well thought out and live-able accommodation plan has received high marks from all who have inspected her. She has graceful lines, unsurpassed structural integrity and exceptional directional stability. These combinations, along with her spacious and well designed solid teak interior makes her an ideal cruiser or live aboard.

When you enter the main cabin you are immediately surrounded by a warmth and an elegance rivaling much more expensive yachts.

Starting at the forepeak:
Anchor chain and rode is stored in the large forepeak.

2) Next is an extremely large sail locker or storage area with a large holding tank to port.

3) Next is the forward head compartment with stainless steel sink, hot/cold pressure water, marble counter, solid teak ceiling strips on the hull sides, large mirrored medicine cabinet, and hand held shower.

4) Next aft is the guest cabin offering total privacy from the main salon and providing direct access to the forward head.

5) Aft of the guest cabin and to starboard is a very large, airy and gracefully curved L-shaped seating area with large dining table (storage within the table base) and seating for seven. One chair can be placed at the table for additional seating. Behind the salon seating are lockers for storage and a shelf for your cruising library. There is copious amounts of storage under the seating as well. Adjacent to the salon is a straight-line settee that can double as an additional berth. Outboard of the seating are lockers and additional space for books. Storage is under the seating as well. Aft end of the settee there is a built in liquor cabinet with glass doors adding a taste of elegance, small faux marble counter top and vented cabinet directly below. The salon features large fixed windows and several opening ports. Center and aft is the companionway stairs with teak banister railings leading to the cockpit (storage under each step).

6) Aft of the L-shaped salon and down one step is the spacious galley presenting an efficiently laid out arrangement that provides excellent countertop space for meal preparation and ample storage. Although the galley is contiguous with the main salon, it is out of the way from foot traffic. Once again, there is plenty of natural light, which offers a pleasant atmosphere to work in.

7) To port going aft is the navigation station facing outboard. The navigation seat wings out from under the table. Again, plenty of storage for your nautical library, charts, and instruments. Aft of the navigation station is a workbench with a number of draws for part storage. The walk through from the salon to the master stateroom is spacious and unlike most similar vessels, it is really a walk through, not a crawl through.

8) Opposite the navigation station are 3 opening doors for access to the engine room. Also a well-covered electrical panel is directly above the engine access doors.

9) Next and all the way aft and is the spacious, and romantic master stateroom with three large windows in the transom. A large athwartship queen size bed, tremendous hanging vented lockers, bookshelves, cabinets, drawers on both sides of the bunk and drawers under too. The ensuite master head is quite large with shower and vanity.

This yacht boasts teak and holly cabin sole with bilge access panels everywhere. All interior bulkheads are covered with solid teak vertical staving. All overheads are white and are accented with solid horizontal teak battens. There are marble countertops in the galley and heads. there is a solid teak salon table and solid teak joinery throughout. There are also solid "beveled" teak locking cabin doors throughout. Solid teak companionway steps with non-skid. Solid teak fascia boards/grab rails along full length of main salon. Red courtesy footlights provide illumination at night. Vemtilation is exceptional with 12 opening bronze ports with screens, 5 Lewmar hatches and 9 dorades. Numerous deck prisms provide additional below deck lighting, creating a pleasing visual effect. Headroom is 6'5" throughout the yacht.
