2007 STINGRAY 210LR, New for '07 Stingray Powerboats' all-new 210L Open Bow fills a niche in our lineup of bowriders, giving customers one of the widest selections of size and seating configurations offered by any boat builder in the 18 to 25-foot range. This is not just another 21-foot bowrider, however. Its compilation of unusual, and in some cases unique, quality features, makes it standout in a crowd. To begin with, the new 210L sports our next-generation Z-plane hull. No other boat manufacturer in the world has a hull with the design and performance characteristics of the patented Z-plane. Originally introduced in 1991 the unique Z-plane design has proven time and again through independent third-party comparison tests to outperform its peers. But at a company where good enough isn't, our engineers have made good better. As a result the 210L rides on a modified Z-plane hull that features special contours to the running surface that extend beneath both sides of the integrated swim platform and create virtually three-point contact with the water at high speeds, delivering better handling and top speeds than previous versions of the hull design. Even when using an economic V-6 for power, the 210L will run as fast, or faster, than many comparably sized boats powered by pricey V-8s. The 210L has more going for it than performance, however. Customers can choose between three different seating configurations. The LS version has a motorbox with side jump seats that can be raised to form a small sundeck. On the passenger side is a back-to-back seat that opens into a lounge. LX models feature a full-width bench and large sundeck aft, with a bucket seat in lieu of the fold-down lounge. Finally, the LR model also comes with a large sundeck, but sports a stylish wrap-around lounge across the transom and up the side. All models have an adjustable bucket seat for the driver. Both the LX and LR models feature a special no-space-wasted, walk-through companionway from the extended swim platform to the cockpit. This practical design features a removable center cushion on the sundeck and a flip-down step to the cockpit. Other special standard features incorporated into the 210L include no-snag, pop-up cleats; a dedicated anchor locker; a fiberglass cockpit floor liner that does not rot and is easy to clean; safe and easy step-up-and-over bow access to the dock; 32 quart integrated ice box with an overboard drain, and much more.
