Uniflite was well-established as one of the premier builders of fiberglass boats during her production years of 1958 until she was acquired by Chris Craft in 1985. Uniflite was known to build boats to the highest production standards using a fire-retardent polyester fiberglass for the hull and the latest manufacturing technology. The boats were built rugged and strong with a high degree of quality workmanship."Day at Sea" is built on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide beam and moderate transom deadrise which provides a stable comfortable ride. She was repowered in 2004 with twin Catepillar 3116 Diesels which will cruise her at 18-20 knots. She has a single stateroom forward but sleeps six with the convertible dinette and sleeper sofa. Her electronics were updated in 2004. She is in overall good condition and a lot of boat for the money. Accomodations:
A single stateroon galley down dinette layout. The master stateroom forward features a double V-berth with filler cushion, storage lockers, side storage shelves, two opening ports and an overhead ventilation hatch. The salon which is bright and airy with her wraparound windows and double entry door has a convertible leather sofa, end table and newer carpeting. Located on the lower level is the head which features a vanity with sink, vacuflush toilet (2004), shower, storage lockers, mirror and an opening window. Also located on the lower deck opposite the galley is a convetible dinette with storage under and side storage shelves. The cabin is very spacious and comfortable.

Galley:
Located on the lower level amidships to starboard the galley features a double stainless steel sink, Princess three burner stove with oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and plenty of drawers, cabinets and lockers for storage.
