Accommodations

This popular and spacious Hunter design features a two berth cabin layout with private v-berth in the bow, a large main salon to starboard with seating and storage, galley to port side, head to starboard and a generous private aft berth with full door closure. The salon area is the main focal point below decks and it compliments a comfortable and very functional cockpit layout for a 30 footer. The 290 features a single wet-head design with hot and cold pressure shower/faucet combination. The 20 gallon holding tank and 6 gallon hot water heater are other great features.



Galley

The galley is to port and is home to a stainless steel sink, pressure hot and cold water, and enough storage space for some great weekend cooking. There is a single 40 gallon freshwater tank forward under the v-berth.

Electronics & Navigation Equipment

Atop the companionway sea hood are a pair of knot and depth meters and an autopilot at the helm. VHF radio is in the companionway for easy access from cabin or cockpit. The navigation station is located in the salon area to starboard with access to the electronics panel, AM/FM/CD player, tank gauges, and volt meter.

Electrical

12-volt DC and 110 AC controls, two batteries located under salon seating area, automatic bilge pump, dockside power and a battery charger complete the electrics.

Sails & Rigging
