A number of Peterson 37's have been built by several builders, but all were not created equal by any means. This 37' Peterson was built by Wiggers Custom Yachts (Andy Wiggers, the former head of C&C's custom shop). The hull is an excellent design that performs well in heavy air or light air. It was built light in the ends and yet very strong (1" fiberglass) in the center. It was laid up using radiant heat and professional vacuum bagging at every stage. The designer was Doug Peterson, who had the daring and confidence to develop this new, and very sucessful concept in the 1980's.



This 1983 (launched in 1984) sailboat has been extensively refurbished with a new and much larger galley (by Jesperson Boat Builders), hot & cold pressurized domestic water, new halogen lighting, 10 new Lewmar opening ports, new holding tank, corian countertops (head & galley), additional new water tank, new teak salon table, new Webasto diesel heater, new Lewmar forward hatch, new cushions, new ceiling liner and a new teak & holly sole in main salon.
